This image was taken at a spot just off the road to Mirror Lake, with Tenaya Creek flowing by. I have visited this spot each time I have come to Yosemite. I first photographed it in 1978, and I last photographed it in 2013. I have seen the trees and dogwood mature and change over the years. This image has the feeling of a Japanese print to me. This is still one of my favorite spots in the valley.
