Description: These tufa looked like marching figures on the grass, and the clouds in the sky complemented them as they "marched" beneath. I think that it is a shame that Mono Lake has been depleted of its water for the Southern California Aqueduct, but the tufa that has been exposed do make for very interesting photographs. But in the end, I could live without seeing them on dry land to have the lake restored to its former glory. |
