Description: I photographed these Aspen tress at sunset. The indicated shutter speed was about 60 seconds and I gave the image 2 ½ minutes for reciprocity failure .I metered the light several times during the exposure. People came by to ask me what I was photographing while I stood next to the camera during the long exposure. It was pretty dark. The long exposure gave the tree trunks a higher contrast and the low light muted the leaves in the trees. The lower barks of the trees are scarred from the dear that live in the park. |
