I was trying to photograph the Giant Sequioa trees in the Toulumne Graove in Yosemite National Park, but it was raining hard and I couldn't point my view camera upwards, as the lens was getting wet. So instead I looked down and saw these beautiful ground cover leaves with rain drops on them, and I photographed them instead! I wanted to to get a good depth of field, to have as many leaves in focus as I could, so I used a small aperture and long shutter speed. Fortunately, the leaves were not moving enough to blur them.
