This image was taken in the Armstrong Redwoods Reserve in Guerneville, CA. I had been trying to get a good image in this forest for years, but it is very busy and the light usually is flat from the trees shadowing the sun all day. On this day, as I passed by this dry creek bed, the sun was just at the right angle to shine through the trees.
