This image was taken early in the morning in order to catch the ground fog, which makes this image so mysterious. The birds in the trees adds to the strange scene. The morning was still, so there are reflections of the trees in the water below the ground fog. Lake Hodges is a man-made lake that is now completely dry, due to the drought we are having in california.
