This forest scene, in the Hoge Veluwe, a park in central Holland, looks almost primeval to me. This is how I think Europe might have looked before civilization came, with it's roads, farms and cities. There are not many forests in The Netherlands, and photographing one provides a rare glimps of another aspect of Holland most foreigners do not know about.
