I was driving from Geurneville to Petaluma along the California coast, in Sonoma County, and Tomales Bay was on our right side. When I saw these small islands across the bay I found a turnout and took this picture. Using a slow shutter speed, cause by a neutral density filter, i softened the waves. The sky had wispy afternoon clouds and I used a red filter to lighten them and contrast the sky with the dark islands and light peninsula behind them.
