Description: This image is one of a number of images I have made of these upside down branches in El Capitan Meadow in Yosemite Valley. You can see the an image of these branches in the winter by clicking here. The stump in the foreground makes a nice counter point to the branches. This composition is so busy that I see it as a picture as much about a natural textured pattern as of the tree trunks, leaves and grass in the image. The "Walking Tree" finally fell, and I took one last photograph of this subject. To see this image please click here. |
