I took this image from a plane flying over the Alaska moutains. I caught a glacier, which looks like a river of snow, snaking through the snow-clad mountains. I liked the patterns and contrast that the image has. The shading on the snow gives the image a bit of reality vs the almost abstract overall look of the image.
