This lighthouse, at Pelican Point, on the California coast north of Carmel, is no longer being used. You can see that there is no light in the top of the tower, and the buildings are not in good shape. But you can look around and see the very beautiful cactus and flora that surrounds the site along the coast. I wanted to lead the viewer from the bright succulents at bottom of the image to the tower, which is standing in contrast to the blue sky.
