Road into Mountains

On summer afternoons in Rocky Mountain National Park there are always clouds gathering for a thunderstorm or two. In this image I wanted to show the mountains fading into the darkness with an ominous road leading the viewer into the image. I was near the ranger's station when I took this image because I didn't want to get cought in a lightening storm! About 10 minutes after I took this photograph a lightening bolt hit about 30 feet in front of the station. I had already retreated into the building before it struck.
