These giant sandstone swirls were fascinating to me. The size of them is a little hard to determine, but if you see the tiny trees in the image, it shows that these rocks are very large, hundreds of feet high! I photographed them from the canyon rim, about 1000 feet above the floor. These rocks look like they were made out of melting ice cream!
