I was staying at Camp Curry in the early Spring when Yosemite received a foot of snow. I got up in the morning and went out to photograph the area nearby. I saw the Royal Arches and North Dome completely covered with snow, as were the trees in the valley. I think of this image as more of a pattern image than a "thing" image because of the white and black lines and patterns in the cliff and trees.
