The fallen branches were given the title "Walking Trees" by Ray McSaveney (as far as I know), and when I saw them for the first time I also fell in love with their almost animal-like quality. I hope my version of this subject is comparable to the photographs I have seen from Ray, which are great. The black tree trunk in the closest tree provides the contrast and give depth to the image. The faint trees in the distance provide texture to the image as well.
