This is an image of the White House Ruins, photographed from the canyon floor with a bright sun out to light up the white rock houses. These ruins were built by the Anasazi indians around 1100 AD. They mysteriously left the dwellings around 1300 AD. The cliff striations and cracks give a strong composition which leads the viewer from the top of the cliffs right to the ruins. Notice the petroglyph figure under the ruins on the wall.
