I was on a trip to Holland ( actually called The Netherlands by the Dutch) in the winter when a snow storm blanketed the city of Delft with a light snow. Canals are an important part of both the history and charm of Delft. I was lucky to have these kind ducks come swimming by as I took this image to give the canal added interest. I lined up the lamp post in the center of the image, and the trees on the sides of the canal give the composition a border.
