The Prinsenhof ("The Court of the Prince") was built in the 15th century as a monastery. Later it served as a residence for William the Silent. I wanted to photograph the buildings so that one could see the patterns and geometric shapes, with just a single tree in the background for contrast. The windows on the right lead into the image and give some depth.
