I was taking a high speed train from Paris to the Hague and I was trying to take pictures out of the window at the landscapes that zipped by. It was winter and this scene excited me. The sun was shining through the morning haze and the trees were baren and stood in stark contrast to the sun and the snow. I had to eliminate some reflections that came from the train window. The trees were at a far enough distance from the train, and the shutter speed was high enough to stop the motion of the trees even though the train was going at 160 mph!
