I visit El Capitan Meadow whenever I come to Yosemite, because I always can find something new or different than I have seen in the past. I saw these two pine trees in the distance and between the nearby foreground Black Oaks and thought this would make a nice portrait of them. There were low-hanging clouds in the valley that day, and it rained very hard after I left the meadow.
